Great location. Walking distance to all Dublin has to offer.

Another excellent stay at Fitzwilliam Townhouse, for the first time I had a room in the basement. Very easy to go to the breakfast room :-)

A larger place that feels more like a small hotel than a B&B. It is in a good location, close to lots of great places to see, eat and drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a little snug for three people (it would probably be better for two). There was a lot of street noise at night, especially on the weekends, which made it challenging to sleep. And since it was warm outside while we were there, we found it necessary to leave the windows open, which made the street noise even worse. Breakfast was tasty, but the sausages and bacon were from frozen packages, not fresh. Overall, I'd say it was a good place to stay while in Dublin, so long as you are not expecting a family-run B&B type of feel.

Great location and comfortable bed. Fab for 2/3 nights in Dublin. Would definitely recommend

5,00

Brilliant valve for money lovely breakfast. Great staff as I was staying with a friend who was using a walking aid the kind receptionist gave us a room so she didn’t need to use the stairs .

Exactly as the reviews describe. Couldn't fault anything. The breakfast was 10/10. Location may not suit everyone but is very close to Merrian Square, the National Gallery and a few other landmarks. Walked to Searson's pub less than 10 mins down the road highly recommended. Got free parking Sat and Sun right outside. Reception 10/10.

Our experience at the Fitzwilliam Townhouse was a very positive one. We found the location convenient, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent, and the room very clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay again.

4,75

Really enjoyable stay. Staff was excellent, so friendly & willing to assist. Would recommend this place to my friends.

4,75

Small room but clean and very well located. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. I missed more chairs in the room.

We had a wonderful, yet brief stay at the Fitzwilliam. It was a perfect location within walking distance to everything. Beautiful Georgian Hotel. Had all sorts of maps for helpful hints.

4,25

Brilliant location, very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. would recommend this hotel.

4,25

The location is very central, the hotel is quiet, except for a little bit of street noise. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thankfully, the windows opened fully to allow for fresh cool air at night (other hotels do not have windows that open) We stayed in a room for four people, which was a bit cramped, but we appreciated the savings as a result. The hotel is basic, but comfortable and clean. Compared to other hotels we researched the rate was reasonable, however, still expensive for North American standards. Would stay here again.

Great hotel but little room

5,00

Great value for price

5,00

Great location and very friendly/helpful staff. I was pleased with everything except the room was small enough that wrangling suitcases was difficult... but, for the price, how can I complain ?

5,00

everything was perfect! Was a lovely stay with our group...

5,00

The staff is very helpful and friendly.

5,00

Excellent accommodation close to the centre of Dublin. Lovely big room with all facilities we required, including a decent shower room. Good choice for breakfast to set us up for the day, including a substantial cooked breakfast. Very pleasant and obliging staff. We have no hesitation recommending the Fitzwilliam Townhouse.

I really enjoyed my stay, reception staff were friendly and helpful. This was not my first stay here. Nor will it be my last. Until next time.

5,00

I simply cannot compliment your staff highly enough. Usmina, particularly was beyond helpful & it was much appreciated. Thank you !

4,75

Excellent service from lady on reception with reguard to directions & reprinting a boarding pass - great attitude. Very good price within this location to city centre & ideal for buses to airport.

4,75

Only minor issue I could think of are there are a few creaky floorboards. But this is not some antiseptic chain hotel. Its a guest house with a friendly welcome and good value for money. Quad Room was clean and tidy with plenty of room for 3 adults. Great location just out of the main shopping area halfway between St Stephens Green and the Aviva stadium. Easy access to the airport via Aircoach. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

5,00

Delightful townhouse in a period building. Ideal stay for marathoners (actually on the start line of Dublin Marathon). The old Georgian location needs a challenging stair climbing (no lift).

4,50

Charming,, great location, clean, friendly efficient staff. Critique: our room was on the top floor. There was no elevator if needed assist climbing up 4, or 5 long flights of stairs,,, or assist getting luggage, or bags up the stairs. We did not know of these limits until we arrived. It would have been nice to have been advised at the time of the reservation.

5,00

The location is what sells this place to me. I have always liked it as a place to go when in Dublin. The only thing that they could do would be to reopen the restaurant or to give a discount for a place nearby maybe 5 Euros off.

4,75

This is a nice property at a reasonable price in a great location.

5,00

We enjoyed our stay but would request a room on a lower floor if we return. Lots of stairs.

4,75

Lobby staff were all very friendly, courteous and helpful. We would choose to stay here again. Thanks

4,50

Rooms were smaller than we expected, but still suitable for our needs

4,25

Nice place!

The people of the staff is great. Sensacionales, una atención excelente!

5,00

A quiet location near bus routes and easy access to attractions and shopping. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Fitzwilliam Townhouse to anyone looking for economical accommodation.

Friendly staff - comfortable rooms

4,00

Good beds and clean rooms. Very good location in Dublin city center.

5,00

Fits my needs perfectly!

4,00

Good location

4,00

Very convenient location for city centre visit, quiet location after midnight and on street parking available.

5,00

A good value for the price. No frills but in the middle of Dublin, who needs frills. Some thing of the original owners still inhabits the halls and rooms making for an intriguing stay. (Room 44 still has an old fitting for gas lighting.) Good old Georgian Dublin!

5,00

Super cozy room, great location.

4,75

When we arrived, the receptionist helped us carry our cases to our room. The room was comfortable and always clean. Enjoyed the breakfasts in the Fig and Barrow Deli, which was just around the corner. Location very convenient for all the places we wanted to visit in Dublin. Would stay in the Fitzwilliam Townhouse again.

5,00

In fact when arriving at Fitzwilliam Townhouse, we learned that our room was not available due to degradations made by former customer. Luckily they were able to provide us another room in another Bed&breakfast of the same group. So everything was fine, people really nice and helpful : they drove us to the new location and offer us the breakfast.

4,25

The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The first time we stayed there, at the beginning of our trip, our room was on the fourth story, with long staircases. We requested a change to a lower room for the end of our trip. The staff helped with luggage and providing other things we needed. The rooms were very small and crowded, though they were clean. The location is close to St. Steven's Square and many tourist sites.

4,25

This is a good midrange place to stay in Dublin. Nothing fancy. Everything, except jail, Guinness, is within a walking distance if you have reasonable mobility. This a city local so if you have a window open for air expect street noise. Great pubs nearby.

4,75

We found our room very pleasant, comfortable and roomy. Staff was friendly, helpful and there when needed. We loved the location--an easy and pleasant walk to good restaurants and St. Stephens Green. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

5,00

The woman at the reception desk when we checked in went above and beyond in the customer service field. There were issues with my bag not making my flight and I had to deal with the airline and customs. Your receptionist was a great help, allowing me to use her phone and even accepting and printing emailed documents for me to sign. She then scanned them and emailed them back for me. I wish I had gotten her name; she was a gem!

4,75

Martin, The family had a great time in Birr and your hospitality was a key part of our enjoyment! Thank you. Scot Bini

3,75

Hotel agréable et assez central. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais propres. Hotel sans ascenseur !

4,25

Good location, 10-15min from city center Friendly and helpful staff Nice rooms, just in need of a better bathroom conditions (bathtub and cleanliness)

4,75

The Room was clean and the Beds comfortable. It was Saturday night, and expected the street noise to be a problem, but it was a very quiet room at street level. The Staff was friendly and helpful. It was very close to everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend this Place!!

4,25

A lovely townhouse in a great and very handy location for everything in central Dublin, only one small gripe, the heater in our room was very poor and so the room was cold on occasions, having said that we will definitely be back.

5,00

Excellent all round value location/cost/comfort
